alright guys im doing this as a favor for my friend that is having this code pop up when he is driveing his explorer is a 2000 4.0 sohc i searched the forums and all i could figure is that it is running lean and that it might be a different situation since almost all the posts had 2 codes pulled up. he just had a 60000 mile service dont at the ford place and i was

so far what should i try?

Intake manifold O-rings or loose manifold bolts are a cause of this code. Can try cleaning the MAS, reset the computer and see if the code returns.
