There are several usb code readers that hook to you pc, or PDA, and allow you to read codes and view sensor data. If you do a search on ebay, you will find that they run around $60. They will allow you to read all OBDII cars
I have a 65 explorer so will any of the readers work. I think i read that all the plugs were made standard but im not sure if its for all cars or only specific brands
Well it might be tough for a "65"... I don't think they were made back then but depending on whether you meant 95 or 96 (profile), there is an issue. 95's use one system while 96's on use another.
