yes, i have heard about the search option, but i havent found part numbers yet. if someone could please let me know what parts i need to get for the coil spacers, it would be appreciated. Also, if they come in different sizes, i'd like to know the largest one. I plan to get them from the ford dealer. I read somewhere that they were the same as f-150 ones ? i really dont know

Thanks !

The numbers are F2TZ-5A307-B and F2TZ-5A307-A. I don't think they come in different size's and don't think they need any extra parts to make them work. You will need an allignment afterwards. I am putting mine in tomarrow night.

thanks, do you think the alignment will be off enough to need that other part, camber bearing i think ? anyways.

Hey how much lift do you get off those spacers? Lamah...how do those kappa 12's sound in your explorer?

thanks

i think you can get like an inch and a half from the spacers.

the perfects sound great. i dont turn them up too much because the amp is at 2ohms and is only stable to 4 ohm =/

but when i do they get nice and loud

I just finished my coil spacers and Warrior shackles. It sits 2 inches higher then my brothers 94 Eddie Bauer. I take it in in the morning to have an alignment done and will let you know if I needed new camber bushings.

ok, sweet

thanks lamah

Hi guys. I'm now trying the coil spacers and shackle lift and want to make sure I do it right. I bought the spacers from the dealer and need to double check how they go in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The spacers should have a L and R one them. The One with the L goes on the left and The one with the R goes on the right. Thats all I can really help you with. I'm not verry well at giving directions on how to do things. It is verry easy and It took about 20 min. to do both sides. When I went to get my allignment I had to use the supperlift camber bushings to get it alligned. Good luck and post some pics.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Gonna go put them on soon. And thanks for mentioning the camber bushing. How much does that cost and who do I order them from?

You may not need to get the camber bushings theres no way to know until you do the allignment. I got mine from 4wheel parts and they were $40 apiece. You can order the bushings from just about any 4x4 store, and I think Skyjacker makes some to.

will most alignment places install it? i was under the impression most require that the parts they use be from their own place, so its their own fault if they screw somthing up.

I had mine alligned at Firestone and they got it as close as they could without the bushings. I got my bushings the next day and took it back to them. They only charged me to install the bushings and not for a second allignment. I think most places will install them for you. If not I know some 4x4 stores will do it also.

coil spacers?

how much were the coil spacers from ford? and what degree bushings did you get from 4wheel parts?

Mine were free because Ford screwed up, but they would have been about $40 for the two of them. I had to get the 3 degree bushings from superlift.
