Coil spring hieght?

Does anyone have a measurement on stock 1rst gen front springs? I'd like to find some 3 or 4 inches taller but I need to know what they are stock. I'm on a low budget and I'm hoping to find some locally instead of going with, I'm assuming, more costly "skyjacker" springs. There has to be springs out there that will work etc., F-150 springs, van springs, or something. It would be nice to go to my buddy's wreckers and yank a pair out of something for free! What is the price of 3" Skyjacker springs? Thanx.

E-250 coils will give you around 4", but you will need drop brackets.

F-150 coils will give you around 2.5" alignment may be sketchy.
