I just put in air bags in the front coil springs on my 94 sport, due to the fact i am putting a plow on it. well after i took it out for a ride it seems to be a smoother ride. does that mean my coil springs may be shot?

My guess is yes, and I will tell you why. Last fall I put some super lift springs in and my front end felt really good, decided to change the lift, so I sold them and put the stock back in, now as I wait for my new springs, my ex is riding like a rock, if I go over a railroad crossing, it sounds like I have no suspension, and really hits hard, so in my opinion mine are shot, chances are with yours being a 94, yours are shot too. I have read where replacements can be bought for a decent price from the local parts house, or you can go aftermarket, blistein makes a 1 inch raised coil for about 250 that would help with the plow on your front.

i had a feeling that is why it was hitting hard over the bumps as well. with the air bags i don't need to much of a heavy duty spring or lift. with the air filled for the plow my front end went up almost 2"s. what are good replacements that aren't a lot of $$$?
