im going to put a spring over axle kit in the rear. and to raise the front end i thought i would place some 3'' coil spacers. If i put them in would i be able to run the stock shocks? ill get new shocks when i get a lift kit. so ill be a few months before i get new shocks.

Thanks for any help

you are not going to be able to put 3" coil spacers up front

Not sure where to even start with that one...........

You can't/don't want to/shouldn't install any type of 3" coil spacer. 2" is about max you can go with that. Anything more than 2" will require all the drop brackets and such that are sold in "suspension lift kits."

so do you think a 2'' would work. is there any other way of lifing the front to match the over axle?

you can buy a lift kit.... doing an soa in the rear will net at least 5" of lift.. to match that up front you are going to want at least some real lift kit, somewehre between 4-6" would match the rear... you can get away with only a 2" spacer like the daystar kit, but that including an alignment isnt going to be much cheaper than a real suspension lift....

bear in mind no matter what lift you want you will need an alignment, but if going over a 2" spacer lift you will need drop brackets... some companies sell the drop brackets alone, but this dips into the cost of a real lift.....

ya im putting on the 5.5'' superlift later this summer. and i dont want a body lift. think with the soa and 5.5'' id be able to fit 35's

the 5.5" and a littel trimming should allow for 35s....

FROADER (i think thats his name-he used to be fenderguy) used to have a 4" lift and 35s with some trimming.....
