Okay.. this is my first post as I have just joined the site. I have a 2000 eddie. SOHC. 140,x... Whenever the engine is cold it spits and sputters and only wants to Idle at around 500 rpm's Once she gets warm she runs like a champ. The check engine is on and the following codes were detected; (po171, Po174.)

Now I believe these are the o2 sensors at falt. I have replaced the mass air flow, tps, and the Iac appears to be brand new. I have just bought an egr valve as that does need replaced. If o2 sensors are the problem can someone tell me how many mine has.

Part two.. My abs light is on and these codes popped up. c1102 c1230. It is my rear wheel speed sensor. Can someone tell me where exactly this sensor is located on my vehicle.?? also a price range for a new one??

Thanks so much!!

i dont know the prices but the sonsor for your abs is on top of you rear axle there is one bolt holding it in. as for the cold start mine did the same thing, were your code bank one and two running lean? if so go get yourself the intake manifold gasket. it should come with the gaskets for the upper manifold and the lower one as well. its not to hard to change out but it is a little time consuming.

yes they were bank one and two running lean. Could this be the oxygen sensors?

Yes there a chance but I would check them first before replacing

Okay thanks........will post what the solution is.

Okay....thought I would post as I have found the solution...it was my manifold gaskets...the lower ones to be exact..changed out oxygen sensors but that had no effect..Took three hours and only a twenty dollar part to fix the problem...runs like a true ford now.
