My 2000 sport has a rough time starting in the morning. The engine shakes violently for a while until it gets warm. I have had the O2 sensor changed and the air filter changed. It keeps happening. The mechanic called ford and ford said they had no idea but it happens. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, could you please let me know what it is. I have also had the fuel system flushed. I think it has to be an air or fuel delivery problem. Its not getting enough or one or the other until its warm. Am I wrong?

Most likely its your intake gaskets, ford issued a recall 00M12(I think thats right). Anyway, when your engine is cold there is a vacum leak around the o-rings on your intake and thats why it runs rough until it warms up. Engine warms up, o-rings expand and stop the vacum, car runs fine.
