Hi there Explorer fans/owners,
A question on navigation systems. Mercedes-Benz offers a very neat integrated system that should work on any "double radio 2 DIN slots". Any of you out there experience with that. The standaard (EON 5000/6000) slot seems a bit small to me but maybe it realy is "2 DIN". Appreciate any suggestions.
Roland.

im sure you could enlarge the openning with a dremel if it didnt fit perfectly.... but i do know that i have seen some double din stereos in explorers....

did you find the benz navi for very cheap? because i know those factory nav systems are really expensive. You might be better off going with a laptop gps, or alpine or pioneer or etc indash tv with nav setup. less custom work and easier integration.

The Benz navi is $1k and up on eBay, without harnesses. I'm sure some sensors would be needed too.
