Has anyone completely removed it all the stuff from the window. And not put a replacement back on? I think that’s what I’m going to do sense my truck is black and so is the window and don’t want to waste 125 to have another crack. If you have can you please post pictures or if anyone has pictures of this being done orrrrr what’s your ideas?

Mine was cracked for a month, then center part with ford emblem broke off in. Are wash about a year ago. Yea, I figured piss on it and left it go with about a foot missing in the middle. Not worth it.

It all depends on how you want to have the vehicle look. I like to keep my Explorer in good condition and replaced my rear applique a couple of years ago without any issues. If you use the same adhesive that Ford used, yes it will probably crack again.

Well I like my vehicle not to look like anyone else’s same and boring. Anything but stock! Mines in amazing condition and I got rid of the rear panel and the rubber behind it today. It looks badass they should have came like that instead of the dumb panel.

I had mine replaced a long time ago right when I bought it. Held up for almost 15 years before cracking and having that section break out. As long as it starts and gets me to work I'm happy with it anymore. It's been a good car for me overall.

This works only on black vehicles.
