Completely stock 00 sport... best way to spend $1000?

Hey all, decided im finally bored with my stock 2000 sport... Have some money to spend, but not much ($1000 as topic says). What would be my best bet for getting a little more speed out of the old girl? Was thinking intake/exhaust most likely just because of the improved sound... Any recommendations?

Edit: also how much (#-wise) would i get from the upgrades

I would go with a custom cat back exhaust, a KKM intake, and a Apten chip or Flasher.

1)KKM Intake,
2) Exhaust (Gibson would be my choice),
3)Apten Chip
those are the big 3.
Then maybe throttle body, headers, etc

-actually do the apten chip last so they can tune it to all your new mods.
