A mechanic tells me the computer is bad and needs replacement. Advanced Auto Parts sells computers for 99 dollars, my question is that do the middle numbers need to match the replacement computers?
The parts guy told me that first and last set of number/letters need to match, for example F5TF-XXXXX-ARC. Anyone know if this is correct? I'm about to order it so that I can have it tomorrow but I want to make sure this is correct. Thanks in advance!
