condensation in running/fog lights on '06 XLT

How can I get rid of the condensation/water-drops on the inside of my passenger-side running/fog light on my '06 Explorer XLT? I tried a portable hair dryer, blowing hot air around outside of light...no help.

You're not alone. My '07 has the same issue. I think the only way is going to be to pull the bulb assembly, use a long wooden Q-Tip to wick out the moisture. Not sure why it's there, as only one side has the problem. I am assuming it's condensation that doesn't have a way to escape. When the warm weather returns, I'll be looking at it too.

I pulled my light bulb out then used an air line...

The bulb was blown anyway from going through grille high flood water in this town and the drivers fog lamp got water in it...

I pulled the bulb then blew out the moisture with my air compressor and then sealed the lamp opening and cleaned the vent in the housing...

My 07 fog light has condensation recently, but no driving in floods or even heavy rain recently. So is this a common problem?

Tag, I have some moisture in my tail lights as well.

Here's a trick. Get a cigarette and blow smoke into the housing with your mouth. You should be able to see where the leak is coming from.

I had the same issue. I removed the whole assembly and blew it out with a compressor and then let it sit in the sun for a while to make sure it was good and dry. I went a good 6 months without moisture and then I saw it again 2 weeks ago. Popped the unit out again and realized there was a crack around the back trim where it meets the glass. I tried sealing it with silicone, but just ended up getting 2 new assemblies off ebay for $60.
