I'm in the process of getting everything together to overhaul my 2001 4wd Sport Trac 4l SOHC and cannot find after market connecting rod bolts. In another thread it said ARP 154-6002 worked for 4l OHV, will they work for the SOHC also?
Guidance on this subject would me most appreciated.

What’s wrong with the factory bolts?

I meant new factory replacements. The bottom ends of the SOHCs hold together just fine.

To give a definitive answer to " do ARP 1546002 fit for 4l sohc ".
I can categorically say " yes they do ".
The ARP bolts are sae threads and smooth

How did the ARP bolts hold up on your 4.0 SOHC? The connecting rod bolts are no longer available. I'm nervous to reuse the old connecting rod bolts as the Ford manual says to replace them (TTY).
