I'd want to see the repair history, and have it up on a lift to check for underbody rust since being a unibody vehicle it will not tolerate a lot of it.
In particular, if it has not had the internal water pump replaced, that may be needed soon and is expensive (close to $2K with inflated labor in today's market) because the engine needs pulled to do that. If it has not had the PTU fluid replaced, I would want the condition of it (the fluid) checked when you take it to a shop pre-purchase to have it looked over. This is assuming it is not FWD so there is a PTU.
Otherwise, there's lots of things that could be starting to wear on a vehicle with 124K mi, not so much 5th gen explorer specific but inherent in any SUV past 100K. You should have a good idea since a '14 is not that much different, mechanically, from an '18.
Personally, I don't know the auto market in Canada, but I would not pay that much for a 124k 5th gen. I feel like their value depreciates a lot faster than some estimate, past 100K mi. I would rather avoid the dealer markup, seek a private seller and still take it to a shop for a good once-over inspection including the PTU fluid... unless this dealer is throwing in a generous powertrain warranty with no objectionable fine print.
