Console Armrest Repair

Here is the fix I did on my 05 XLT console lid. 3/16" aluminum stock for the braces and front legs to support the front. Good and solid.

How do I remove the complete armrest from my 2002 Ford Sport Trac

Matters which console you have the short or the full length console. The full length when you lift the armrest there are some small screws on a hinge that holds it on, the short console there is 2 small plastic covers on each side of the console you have to pop off and there is 2 bolts on each side that hold it on.
