Consoles, Rims, and Explorers, Oh My! (or "My Trip to the Salvage Yard")

If you haven't left yet, I've got a couple.

First, the same switch ray is in need of.

Second, the right hand side of the steering wheel cruise control buttons. Out of a '95-97 with BLUE capped light bulbs. Pop the swithces apart and get some bulbs. I need one or two.

Third, the high series console with the tissue holder and all. I need the front black part with the two storage areas and the back black part that the tissues go in behind.

THANKS!!

John, I assume you mean the tissue tray with change slots? The front storage areas they had when I was there but will require cleaning. I'll try my best to clean everythign up before I ship it to you guys but I'm unsure how to clean the felt... maybe I can get the Bissel's hand cleaner in it...

As of now, I'm not taking anymore parts requests as I have a list with everyone's here as well as my own wanted parts. However, I will go there again sometime and will let you know when to request more. Furthermore, I'll private mail you guys when I get the things as to their prices. I won't get anything that they're going to rip me off for - I'll use good judgement to keep you guys from spending an arm and leg :)

No, not the tissue holder itself. Check your PM's for a better discription.

If the felt in the cubbies is messed up, don't get it. My felt is messed up, that's why I want a new one. :)

Hey Adam,
Maybe you should just buy a whole junker and drive across the country and let everyone pick off what they want! J/K

Or maybe wait until $50 wheelbarrow day if your yard has such a thing. My local "get it yourself" yard has one day a year when everything you can fit in a wheelbarrow is only $50. It's worth the $1 admission just to see how high some of those guys can stack it!

Good Luck!

Robb

Robb,

Haha! I wish mine did. It's not a true pick it yourself place, as the guy also has a warehouse that's HUGE with parts (www.denaples.com). However, where I get the parts is from the area that (I believe) hasn't been gotten to by the guys who take them apart... thus, they let people do their work for them before they have to. As for a flat price, hah! This guy (DeNaple) is rated the richest man in Northeastern PA (or the NE quadrant of PA... I forget how Money Magazine did it). He owns this, some security firm, is a real estate/land tycoon, a local railroad company, and God knows what else... he's out to make a buck in all reality. The key is getting his workers to not share that mentality!

adam i want those defrost lights, if they're cheap i can take a few
