So, I thought this was going to be easy. Nothing but problems so far.

I brought home a vac and gauges from my FIL to charge the Mountaineer AC. Well of course the hoses are not for r134. So I buy new hoses to thread onto the gauges. Not the same size fittings.

I've been to all the local Pep Boys, Napas, Auto Zones, etc and no one has much for gauges and fittings. I found this searching on eBay. Is it my only option? Anyone have experience with this?

I had to buy a different manifold gauge set when R134A became the new freon which was mandated. It came complete with hoses. The scales are printed for R134A readings on the proper gauge set. I think I paid $40 back then. One company sells a fancy digital manifold gauge set.
