Lots of guys here do the "swiss cheese" mod to their airbox to increase airflow. They basically cut several small holes or one big hole in their airbox, below the filter of course to allow more air to be sucked in. I really dont know about cold air intakes for 91-94s as I have a 98, but go to www.explorerexpress.com or ebay it. You should get results from those sites, good luck!!
there is no commercially available cold air intake for the explroers made... the aftermarket systems all draw air from under the hood... this isn't much an issue really, but does eliminate it from the cold air line of intakes
I've got the one from Ifab. It makes a whining sound at high rpms, sounds like the K&N fipks. Other than the sound, I really didn't notice much of a difference. It runs a little better when its cold outside though.
