coolant in oil

I have a 99 explorer with a 4.0 ohv engine have noticed that it was loosing coolent with no external Leak visable I checked oil and have coolent in oil its a milky color head gasket? Or cracked head?

1. best case scenario is intake manifold gasket.

2. blown head gasket.

3. cracked head.

no way to tell without tearing into it.

Depending on where the problem is, you might be able to learn something with a cylinder leakdown test. But I agree with Koda. Time to start digging in to locate the problem. Have you had any overheating?
