lets get straight down to it. there is a coolant leak behind my front passenger side tire i suspect it migh be from the heater hoses that supply the heat (the two medium size hoses attached to the plastic connector right next to the fire wall and the air conditioner) but i do not see any trail of antifreeze from the hoses i looked and felt a little but not enough to cause me to worry. any one have the same trouble?

Start the truck, let it warm up and see if you can see any visible spots where it is leaking from. I'm thinking it might be your Heater control valve, their made out of plastic. Usually when they go bad, you'll see antifreeze leaking out of it.

You might want to check if your heater core is leaking. A good and simple way to check is to remove the heater core cover that is under the dash of the glove box. It has a drain tube the leads out to the firewall engine bay wall. If you take that cover off and it is wet than that is probaly your problem. It is just a couple of screws to remove this.

thank you i will try to look into both suggestions tomorrow.

I don't think first gens have heater control valves, I think it's only 95+.

coolant leak

you might want to check the rear of your intake manifold, the are very prone to leaking and running down around the oil filter.
