I have a slow loss of coolant. Maybe a pint per week. I can not pinpoint it definitivly, however...there is some dried, cooked on, coolant where the air duct connects to the throtle body. It is on the inside lip of the duct, and the outside of the lip of the throttle body. No where else, that I can see. Thoughts?

There are a few hoses in that area that could leak (spray)..

A heater hose that connects to the top of the intake manifold and the upper radiator hose. Those are the closest water line I can think of that are close to the TB.

A common leak on the '94 is the heater control bypass valve. Its a device that is near the firewall on the passenger side. It is what keeps hot water from going into your heater core when heat isn't needed.

I mean Bill,
Lower intake manifold gaskets are very common on these engine's... If you can't see it leak and you've checked all the obvious stuff like hose clamps, Pump some pressure in the system and let it sit for 30 minutes and see if any AFreeze is anywhere on the engine, may have to look at the intake...

Here's my story.
2 years ago, AF leak.. Turned out to be a heater hose hose clamp was tightened too much and had a pin hold.. I could smell antifreeze.. Easy fix.
Then about 2 months later, Lower intake manifold gasket, UGh.. $1200 fix..

Fine for a few years, then last month noticed AF smell again, radiator this time, replaced radiator....

Now fine, so AF leaks can be multiple places at multiple times, you just have to keep checking..
Like the radiator was obvious, see antifreeze on the drain plug, and around it, but it wasn't leaking.. The shop says the ford radiators have a weak seal..

The hose clamp was obvious.. the intake manifold gasket it leaked slowly I think for over a year, then one day it just started gushing out..

That's my experience.
