On my auto parts store trip today, I grabbed spark plugs (Autolite Douple Plat's), and anti-seize which everyone reccomended. Ive never used/bought the stuff before, so I grabbed the only one they had, which is copper. Apparently theres other kids.

Mine says safe for up to 2000 degrees (F). I have a 2006 4.0, should I use this stuff? I dont really have time today to drive back out to town and find the other kinds and still get the plugs done. Working the next 14 days in a row.

Thanks!

Your hi-temp copper will work just fine. Apparently
some of the earlier copper anti-seize was rated for
lower temps, and that's what causes confusion.

Thanks Runnin, I ended up not using any just out of caution. Every thread I read online was either an astounding "yes use it, copper is fine" or "NO! Not unless you want to ruin the threads blah blah" so I ended up skimping on it.

I'll probably change the plugs in a year or so again and use some just to be safe on the long run. I'd like to run a Seafoam treatment anyways, but forgot todo it with the old plugs in damnit!
