I searched the different threads on radiator caps, and some of you recomended going to a 16lbs cap, but on every autoparts website for the 1990-1993 explorer recomended the 13 lbs cap and for the 1994-on the 16 lbs cap, so what should I buy???, I need to replace it and don't know what to buy please help me if you can.

Thanks.

Your best bet, IMHO would be to replace it with the same one you have on it now. If it is the 16lbs one, stay with that, also think about doing the thermostat and hoses while you are there if they are needed.

I have 13Lbs cap

Yes but I have a 13lbs cap and lately I been having some overheating problems well the temperature has been on the 1/2 to 5/8 the range of the gauge, so I have to change the cap, that's the next thing to do since I haven't changed it and possibly is the original, so what are your recomendations 13 or 16lbs cap.

And another thing what's best on places with HIGH heat? right now we are in the 105-110*F range and climbing.

Thanks for your help BBQ
