Has anyone here ever fit a full sheet of fiberboard (4' x 8') into the back of their 2dr Sport without problems? I am selling one of my speakers soon and the box is going with it, I have plans on building a box soon afterwards to fit my larger subwoofer but I think the X is the only way I can get some fiberboard.....

Guess if it comes down to it, I could always stick it on the roof rack.....then with my luck it would scratch my roof or break something else!

um, 4x8 is a lot bigger than the explorer... it may fit width wise, but not length wise... will need some straps or something, and have to drive around with the door open.....

Dude.. I dont think you'll be able to get an 8 footer in there. My bed barely fits and its like 6 1/2 foot and I have a 4 door. Do you have access to a trailer?

hmmm.....well i cant drive with the hatch or even the glass open cause its almost an hour drive to the nearest Lowe's, and frigid outside.....I don't exactly have access to any trailors but I guess I could ask around.....again.......with my luck I'd screw something up, I have never driven with a trailor before.....I'd probably run it over someones car or something :)

get two half sheets or 3 if the dimentions of the box are greater then the two half sheets i don't see you using much more then that just for a box unless your gonna try to cover the entire back half of the truck

umm.....actually yes I do plan on covering the whole rear cargo area...I plan on buying 2 full sheets and don't wanna cut them down just because doing that will limit what I can use the wood for

you can rent a truck at Home Depot.

Figure out your dimensions, and have them cut it for you.

My bad, didn't see that you didn't want to cut it
