I have a 95 X Eddie Bauer with a TT/Shackle. I got close to two inches front and back from that. I also have brand new 31's.

Now heres the dilemma...........

I want to get at least another 2 inches of lift front and back so that I can run on 33's. From what I have heard I can do an Add-A-Leaf for the back but what I am supposed to do in the front??

Could really use some expert advice, or if I am heading in the wrong direction please straighten me out!

You could add coil spacers in the front - or get new coils for the extra 2", however, the easiet and cheapest way is to do a 2" body lify. Mdrut has a 2" suspension paired with a 2" body lift that he is quite happy with...

I was under the inpression I could not get coil spacers since I have a torsion bar not coil springs?

LoneStarExp,
You can not get more suspension lift out of your current truck cheaply. You'll either have to go with a 4" lift from trailmaster, modify a 4" ranger lift from superlift, or settle for a 2 or 3" bodylift.

You're unable to go with coil spacers due to the fact that the 95's don't have coils. The IFS becomes a pain in the butt to lift on the "middle" age Explorers. Many have used the Ranger kit to make it all work. You could go with a body lift to make it work for cheap. ;) Some people say the explorer kit that trailmaster puts out will work on the "middle" explorers, but I've yet to see one. It would be some work to make it all fit either way.

Alright, I think this could work but ya'll let me know!

Can I put a 2 inch body lift and 32 BFG Mt on a 95 EB with TT/Shackle already on it without having them rub, at least on the street anyway?
