Couldn't get into reverse this morning! Is the AA tranny adapter ready to order?

Well my 3rd tranny has been giving me problems for a while. For the past two months or so it doesn't come out of 1st gear until it warms up. Although, I have been through these symptoms before I've been hoping that this one would last a little longer. This morning I couldn't get it into reverse. Drive is engaging with a bit of hesitation.

I have to wait a few hours to call Advance Adapters, does anyone know if the adapter is ready to order and the price on it? Also does anybody think that there might be some kind of quick fix to the tranny giving these symptoms so that it can have a few more months of life.

just got off the phone with AA. The adapter won't be ready until the end of August. Local Transmission shop swears this tranny isn't so bad, that I should take it to him for a quote.

If he thinks the tranny is so good, see if he will back it up with a 100k mile warranty.

They have part numbers and prices for the adapters. I am not sure if you can pre-order one or not, but it's only a phone call to find out.
