Couple of issues with the new 2 me 98 mounty

Aside from the cv axle and wheel bearing I knew were shot, we have some other slight problems.

I have the mach audio system but it seems when using CD periodically the stereo gets quiet and then loud all by it self, sometimes not emitting any sound at all. I take it the head unit is going? Also the lights on it are funky as well.

Also the ON/OFF buttons for the cruise control on the steering wheel dont light up, how do i fix?

Also part of the tach is extremely dim, do I have to swap out hte whole dash?

Otherwise this thing is a beast .

There are also known problems with some head units with the volume control potentiometer.

There are bulbs behind the dash that can be replaced to fix the tach lighting.

The cruise switch bulbs need to be replaced. A substitute bulb that works is E5RY*13466*BA You will need to remove the air bag and remove the switch assy. to get to the bulbs.
