Changed the rear brake shows a couple of weeks ago and they have since been squeaking quite a bit, i can kinda control when it squeaks by covering the brake peddle and knowing just how much presure to put on to make it squeak!! any ideas how to stop this ?

When i come to the end of a road and my downward sloping drive and brake (not hard and not going fast) the ABS seems to kick in a touch, any ideas ?

cheers

My ABS was doing that when I would come up to a stop whether pavement wet or dry. If you know the grip isn't slipping at all, it's the ABS sensor. I replaced my hub with a spare junkyard hub with a different ABS sensor, and it stopped.

Yes mate- take the pads out and use copper ease on the BACK of the pads, it stops that from happening- I have always used it.......Oh and its also great to use as an anti seize, I use a little on the threads in the auto adjuster for the rear shoes also helps to keep it moving......these things seize up often otherwise.

cheers for the info

Caution

Oh please be careful not to get any on the pads mate,
I put a smear of it on the back of the calipers and the break pad back, then wash my hands and put the pads back.
