Need some help. 03 ford explorer 4.0 with a cranking but no start. I have compression, spark and fuel press at the rail and yes the PATs is working as should. Not a single code. A few days later it started up fine but once I shut it off it wont start again. I pulled the plugs and saw the electrodes were pretty much non-existent and one plug was actually broken so I went ahead and changed the spark plugs because they were due anyways and once again the explorer started right up after that. And of course once it was shut off it won't start anymore but now i have codes. But all the codes are voltage related...high circuit codes. I really don't want to chase down electrical Gremlins.
Update: explorer started today. While running we looked over live data. IAT and ECT or reading -40. I know ECT is good because I just replaced it. So bad ground or PCM? Any ideas?
Update: swapped out cam and crank position sensors. Still same issue. I'm starting to lean towards PCM issue unfortunately. Any ideas?
