Cree LED 9005 Headlight - Question about overheating>>>

Looking at these Cree options and wondering if the would be suitable for our application and further, if they would work with the dust cap that our trucks have?

I'd be very surprised if they create a high enough output to be used as headlight bulbs in our projectors. 2400 lumen sounds like a bold claim and even if they were that bright I doubt it would focus and project properly.

I tried a similar set from VLEDS. I found the diameter of the LED bulb assembly was too large to fit into the headlight housing. I returned them.
