I finally figured out what the poping and creaking noise was that came from under my truck. After a hour on the lift my friend Chico and I came up with two things, the front driveshaft CV joint had alot of play in it, and the transfer case had nasty oil and an inch of play in the chain. Im going to replace the driveshaft, and he is going to take care of transfer case.
Where should I get the driveshaft, and how much does it cost?
What size are the torx bits on the front of the shaft? I need to buy a set
