Crossed wires,can I cross at the coil?

My mechanic(I hate saying that)found two crossed wires,7 and 8,at the plug.

He just switched them at the coil because I had them tied up "so nice" off the new TMHs, and said it would be OK.

Is this ok?

Truck doesnt have the power I was expecting with the new headers.

Switching the plug wires like that will set everything straight - its just doing things at the other end of the issue. As far as your headers; Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? I did my whole exhaust first (eliminating one cat and having a flowmaster and 2 1/4" pipe ran the whole way out on my 4.0). After driving that for a few days -big difference- I added headers and felt a little bit of difference and a slight difference in sound.

Dang,I was hoping for some more opinions on this.

Thanks Cruz,the CEL is staying off so should be good I guess.

No exhaust yet,thats next.
