Recently my cruise control quit working. I took it to the shop and they found that my E-brake was not disengaging all the way so it was not letting the cruise control engage. Has anyone heard of this? What can be done to stop this issue? The shop saId to pull on the E-brake release and few times and it should release. Has not worked at all. Open for suggestions. Thank you in advance.

More than likely the deactivation switch on the master cylinder has gone bad and needs to be replaced. On my 2003 it needed that and new cruise control buttons

Thank you so much for the information. I will have the Deactivation Switch on the Master Cylinder checked.
