The on off switch light on the left side of my steering wheel burned out the other day. Is it possible to fix this?

I have the same problem. According to my mechanic, you can't just change the light bulb, you have to replace the whole unit. Because of the air bag, he said it was very expensive. I can't remember the exact price he quoted, but I think it was over $300. In any case, I decided to live with it.

It would take them about 20 minutes. All you have to do is unbolt the bag, unscrew the switches and replace them, then rebolt the bag. Not a big deal. I also know of someone who did replace just the bulb, might be in that thread that was posted.
