bulb quality
As for the guy talking about AutoZone being cheap bulbs, etc...don't get fooled by marketing on bulbs. It runs deep. THere are only a handful of bulb manufacturers in the world...everything else, whether it says " Super Xenon blue high output heavy duty" or whatever, is pretty much the same bulb private labeled for people who buy into marketing hype. Go with the sylvania or GE bulbs sold at most auto stores. If you want to make them last a bit longer (hypothetically), you might try making sure the contacts are clean and tight. If you suspect there is any vibration back there, you might also put a dab of silicone around the bulb if it doesn't get too hot. Just dont coat the bulb...it needs to cool, or you will reduce it's life that way. If anyone makes halogen bulbs as a replacement ot regular incandescents, I'd cheack that out, too.
