Cruise Control On 04 Explorer Eddie Bauer STALLING!!

Hey Guys,
I noticed a new hicup with my truck I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. If I engage the cruise control around 50km/h then choose to slow it down via the steering wheel control the truck will stall out!!!

Is there a fix for this issue and is it a known 04 problem.....Thanks for your quick response!!!!

Sounds electronical like the engine is cutting fuel to much, I'd take it back and have the dealer fix it, its what warrenties are for.

I just took my truck out for a spin again and sucsessfully re-created the issue. I think your right, The cruise control isn't shutting off when the truck goes below 45km/h and the RPM's drop off causing the truck to stall.

I beleive the lost speed you can engage Cruise control is 45km/h....
