Cruise control switch /heat air question

Newbie here. Hopefully posting in the right area this time. Can the rubber covers be purchased that go on the cruise control button on steering wheel or does one have to purchase the complete switch assembly? Also, vehicle has automatic climate control. System heats fine, cools fine unless it is on the auto mode, then it cools up then switches to the heat mode, then back to cool mode. Drives me nuts. Any suggestions on a fix?

You have to buy the switch as an assembly. There are a lot of posts here that deal with replacing them. Not sure about the climate control problem.
