cruise control with engage light

hi
looked thru all forums for possible solutions; perhaps someone has the same issue.

1. cruise control light light turns green on dashboard but the speedometer does not hold the speed set.

2. no abs issues( abs lights does not come on)

3.looked for sensor on pedal could not find it (electronic adjustable pedal)

changed sensor on Mater cylinder

4. help please

I have the same problem on a 2002 Explorer.
Well there is two of use hoping for an answer.

mine did the same thing and I replaced that component near the brake resevoire. It is simple to install and it cost me around 20.00 from rockauto..
