Ok over the past 6 months I've looked EVERYWHERE for a thread that has my problem and forgive me if i've missed this... Here goes
My cruise will only engage now if i slighty am touching the pedal the second i let off it disengages and will only flash on my dash as i touch the buttons which tells me the buttons are doing there job... For a while if i played with it it would engage until i stopped again but now ONLY wen i have my foot on the brake and the brake lights are engaged.... PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I am dying knowing my beautiful baby is not perfect running condition!!

Its likely that your BOO switch is faulty and needs to be checked / replaced... the contacts are not making proper contact when your pedal is not depressed but you have found a position where the contacts works... obviously if you press too hard then the "real function" of the BOO switch does it job and cancels the cruise control.

Thank you very much man I hope thats wat the problem was.

Cruise

ok since i started this thread i should end it. I have found the problem with my cruise control it was the faulty deactivator switch ON the M/C that is recalled every freaking year BUT mine. 22 bucks a lil pactch kit and some pb to get the old one off. Working cruise control within 20 minutes... Hope anyone who needs help can use this theory or pm me:salute:

Thanks for letting us all know!

It's nice when threads are closed with their solutions, instead of left hanging.

Indeed, that would have been my suggestion... The fact that it worked until you stopped the first time told me exactly where the problem is.

And yours should now be included in the recall. If not, hang on to your receipt. It will be eventually.
