Hello everyone! I have a few ideas for my exhaust but i wanted to see if anyone has done it before, or if you have something to add or help me out with. I have a '94 4dr 4wd X 4.0L I really want to go dual exhaust but i dont want to lose horsepower. My auto teacher has been kida helping me. He has a few racing formulas to improve horsepower. He said that I sould run dual exhaust out the headers and instead of goign in two one cat, he said two run dual cats then he can find out where it is best to stop the pipes to get max horsepower. Has anyone done anything like this and might have a few pics or what you did or think?
Thanks for the help

You should really get down there and look at your truck from underneath. You'd have a hell of a time doing what you want to do. In this particular spot up front where the headers go down you also have the front drive shaft and then you'll also need to worry about bypassing the transfer case. Get down there and look if you have enough room. I know from my experiance than anything is possible but I would check first... You'd most likely have to run pipes under the skid plates...

just my 2 cents.

It's possible though,
