Custom lift

so i was looking to also lift my explorer, i want to do a rear leaf over axle and something to match the same hight in the front welding and cutting is not a problem im a certified welder. i was thinking maybe some two inch taller bracket to hold the spring and the strut. do you guys have any ideas/expirence on this? thanks.

Your going to need drop brackets for the front. Search the suspension forum. All possiable ways to lift an X have been covered.

doing that in the rear will net you around 5.5", if you only want 2" make some longer shackles.

To match it in the front search for f-150 coil spring seats, that will give you about the right amount. Or you can use coil spring spacers.
