I had sprayed the cylinder head bolts down with PB blaster penetrating oil for a couple of days and just went out in the garage to start to remove them. Holy smokes! I started to feel my 1/2 inch breaker bar start to flex when they didn't budge.

What does it take to remove the cylinder head bolts, other than a small tactical Nuke? :) Would it be advisable to use an impact gun or not? I swear I'm getting my backside kicked at every turn with this thing!

PB blaster will do nothing as the threads are not exposed. Sounds like you need an impact gun or some better tools!

Thanks Edge! I was pretty sure the PB wasn't going to do anything.

It's funny, I had a great Craftsman breaker bar years ago that was made of solid steel. A nephew borrowed it and that was that. I replaced it with a new Craftsman breaker bar and this thing feels pretty flimsy.

I might spring for a MAC just to have but I'm breaking out the impact gun on this baby :)
