I just had my wheel bearings done and put in my James Duff lift (got an allignment) and I seem to have a shake around 60. It wasn't there before and I'm not sure what to attribute it. All of my wheels are balanced, and the suspected left front was just balanced because it threw a weight. I retorqued the lugs after I brought it home from being balanced and I noticed a fair about (atleast 1/8") of play in the wheel, top to bottom, and its not in the ball joints. I know the mechanic did infact do the bearings, but I'm wondering if maybe he didn't torque that outer nut enough. Would this cause the play? The shake? And in general how much play should there be?

yes that can cause play... and also eat the bearings... if you even have a doubt i would check the nuts just to be sure...
