"D4" axle code

Hello,

I have a 97 5.0 AWD with the "D4" axle code. I can't seem to find a decoder for this on the internet so I thought I would ask you guys.

Does anyone know a) the gear ratio and b) whether the rear and/or front differentials are limited slip?

D4 is 3.73 Limited Slip. Your front does not have a limited slip. A simple search for "axle codes" would have yielded the same results.

yup, same code I got.. LSD 3.73 my fav. gear ratio too, thats what I'm putting in my project truck was well.
