tranny is almost done.... i have 2 order a few more things monday to complete the job.... i shelled the springs, retainer, and snap ring in the cruise clutch drum....... so i need to get new ones and then finish assembling the tranny and back in it goes....

Just to let yall know, I will be camping at OLD CAMP area. Mudduck said this is one of the more likeable campsites he knows of. If any of you would like to join us to cook out or so, let me know.

Okay I have reserved my room at the Executive Inn in Gilmer. They are about 5-7 miles from the Mountain. I had to do this in style After a day in the heatt wheeling I like to enjoy a nice shower and air conditioning.

Yall have a great time. I'm leaving for Aspen Sun the 3rd so I will be loading the X. Could leave later but I need 4 new tires a ra bushing and Im broke, so I cant take a chance on breakage. I hope to stay there thru the Moab run and then head back to Garland. Moab is only 4hrs from Aspen! I went 3 times last summer If anyone local has some old worn out but drivable 30x9.5 they could part with for 10 bucks or so it would really help. Two of mine still have a good amount of tread, but all 4 are 5yrs old and I'm scared they are gonna disintegrate,on the road:roll: I'd love to go to 31s but I'll have to come up with 5. Maybe I should check the mexican tire joints around, theres plenty of them here.
I'd like to do Gilmer when I get back this fall and its cooler! There is plenty for a stocker to play on so dont worry just go Xplore !
For anyone thats never been to Moab you HAVE to go, just ask Trckmagik or any of the guys from Houston. The stocker group is usually larger than the modified group, and this is where you will findout what your truck can really do. Those that are lifted with larger tires will just go plum nuts out there. There are hundreds of trails there and 2/3 can be done by a stock 4x4 on 30s. Oh yea if u have a mountain bike take it

ok i fixed the leak and tranny runs great but i am taking it by a tranny shop tomarrow just to double check everything

SWAK wow man I forgot u was 1wheel drive Without lo range I'd think 33s would be real hard on the tranny. You need the lowest gearing you can get I would go back to 31s and trade the 33s in on a locker. be sure to have a front tow hook. you probably wont need one on the back

oh yea what gear ratio do you have?
