My 94 's vinyl padding on the top of the dash has started to separate (floating up) at the seam on the driver's side. There is the padded trim piece about 3/4? inch around the top of the instrument panel. This has another "panel" that "slips" under it and goes to the windshield. Right at the seam, the panel that goes to the windshield is "picking up"
I thought some sort of glue application might work, but I can only see that making a mess. I also thought a little "heat" might help...maybe using a towel and an iron at a low setting might "remold" it.
Before I wreck the thing I thought I'd ask if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions?

You would probally be better off going to the bone yard and getting a replacement..The heat thing might work, but will only be temporairy..Before summer is over, the sun will do its damage again.

Thanks for the get back
I can't imagine how that thing comes out.
Is it glued?....or with "plastic panel pop things"?

Hey.. I'll try again
Does anyone know how the top vinyl dash panel comes out on a 94?
Are we looking at glue? or pops?
