My dash light went out. It didn't effect my Check Gauge or Check Engine light just the speedometer, RPM, gas, etc.

Could it be the bulb or probably the fuse?

There's LOTS of lights to backlight your dash panel. I bought a used '00 and the lamp under the 0-40 portion was out. The rest of the panel was lit fine. I replaced it, and it's fine now. Takes standard 194 peanut lamps...

If yours are all out, it isn't the lamps. I'd go look for a fuse.

rgoers, I too got one of the speedo lamps out. Did you have to disassemble the dash, or were you able to reach the offending bulb from underneath and behind? Thanks.

it takes about 20 min to get to it. you have to take out the plastic bezel around the radio then the large panel below the steering wheel, then an underlying panel, then you can unscrew the dash and pull it out but becarefull there will still be wires attached

when you take off the top pannel the headlight switch cand the dimmer are a PITA to get out without just taking the switch out of the pannel.

You'll have to remove:
Hood release, lower dash panel and inner metal panel, radio besel, instrument cluster besel, then the instrument cluster. It's not difficult, just time consuming.

Thanks for the guidance, guys.
