I don't know if I should post this here or in the lighting section, but after reviewing that forum I thought this would be better since I am dealing with no upgrades, as of yet.
A short melted some of the insulation from a wire going from the light switch to the fog lamp switch. I replaced the damaged wires that I found and after looking I can not find any more damaged wires. I also replaced the fog lamp switch.
Some times when I turn on the parking lights my dash lights will not light. The dash lights works fine with the dims on, but sometimes when I activate the brights I loose the dash lights.
I am thinking I need to replace the light switch but I am looking for other thoughts as well. All input will be greatly appreciated as I am looking to tear the dash apart as little as possible.
