Dash Painting

Anyone done a painted dash in a 98 Explorer Sport, i am trying to paint mine and i would hope someone has a write up or some pics or some type of help so i can do this with as much ease as possible.

That looks awesome but i am on a seriously short budget lol i would hope someone her has done a painted dash that would help me out so much. if not i guess ill have to wing it.

I painted mine and it came out great.

Dont go to autozone or Walmart and but the fabric and vinyl paint by duplicor. Yes it works but unless your doing some crazy color i wouldnt do it. This is the stuff I used

Cost me about 18 dollars a can, use laquer thinner to wipe your dash down, this softens the vinyl for better penatration.

Here is the color chart where you can get the spray can in Ford OE colors.

Now I wont be responsible if you mess up your dash, but this is the way I did it and it came out looking like a stock dash. If you dont wanna use thinner on your dash, use some sort of paint prep. Sem makes the as well.

this is great i got my coloured green metallic in hole interiours and yeah this is funny to paint me like your way to do it..
